Rep. Engleman welcomes student pages to the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (May 1, 2017) — State Rep. Karen Engleman (R-Georgetown) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As a House page, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Engleman on the House floor during the legislative session:

  • Ally Baimer, from Sellersburg, attends Indiana Academy;
  • Jackson Gum, from Corydon, attends Corydon Central High School;
  • Lucas Myers, from Corydon, attends Corydon Central High School ;
  • Josh Schroeder, from New Salisbury, attends North Harrison Middle School;
  • Justin Spurgeon, from Sellersburg, attends Scribner Middle School; and
  • Cole Thurston, from New Albany, attends Scribner Middle School.

She was joined by her grandson, Jackson Gum.

Engleman said students aged 13 to 18 should consider participating next session.
