STATEHOUSE (June 16, 2025) – The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is looking for farmer, agribusiness and consumer input on priorities for the new ag portal established through legislation authored by State Rep. Kendell Culp (R-Rensselaer) that was recently signed into law.
This one-stop shop will allow Hoosiers to access state and federal agricultural resources, grant applications, regulatory checklists and an updated inventory on lost farmland. To maximize efficiency and assist user navigation, the ISDA has posted a 2-minute survey prioritizing topics within the agriculture portal. The survey can be found at in.gov/isda.
"Our goal is to make it easy for consumers, farmers and agribusiness owners to get the support, tools and reports they need to keep Indiana a top producing state," Culp said. "By taking a few minutes to fill out this survey, you are providing key insights on the creation and organization of the portal."
The survey does not ask for personal information and can be done anonymously from any device. Data gathered from the survey will be used to develop the portal, expected to launch in 2026.
