STATEHOUSE – “I whole-heartedly support changing IPFW’s classification from a regional campus to a metropolitan campus. IPFW should join IUPUI as one of two metropolitan campuses to reflect the unique role that IPFW plays in the Northeast Indiana region and the value that IPFW brings to its students and the community as a whole.”
“I am also pleased that President Daniels and the Purdue Board of Trustees has recommended to the Commission on Higher Education a change in metrics under the performance funding formula, recommending a change from “Student Persistence” for “High-Impact Degrees” among IPFW’s performance funding indices. The focus on High-Impact Degrees will allow IPFW flexibility in meeting graduate degree needs and increasing responsiveness to the Northeast Indiana regional economy.”
Rep. Cox represents a portion of Allen County, including IPFW. He serves on the Judiciary Committee, the Courts and Criminal Code Committee, the Elections and Apportionment Committee and the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee.
