Ed was a perfectionist, a consummate researcher who never stopped working to make Fort Wayne a better place to live. He was a tenacious advocate for change. His successful efforts to bring businesses to Allen County and to expand the Memorial Coliseum were ideas that, at the time, some thought impossible, but now, they are cornerstones of our local economy. He has left a legacy that will outlive most of us, and we could use a little bit of Ed's bold vision today."
