STATEHOUSE— “It’s been a very productive session at the Statehouse. It’s hard to believe it’s already over. You name it and there’s a good chance we dealt with it, from protecting personal liberties to child protective services to benefits for our soldiers. A ton of issues were dealt with, and I’m absolutely sure that a lot of positive improvements for my fellow Hoosiers will come about as a result of some of the legislation passed.
“We worked hard to develop legislation that will boost our economy and get more Hoosiers back to work. This year I was honored to author legislation that will aid in the lives of our United States servicemen and women.
“In addition to working on economic growth we also held the line on spending. In survey after survey the majority of Hoosiers state that they prefer smaller government over higher taxes.
“Now that session is over I’ll hit the ground running back home in District 45, where I’ll continue working with the people who allow me to serve them as their State Representative. I feel that overall this was a very positive session for my fellow Hoosiers.”
