"This is a great educational opportunity offered to students. I hope students take advantage of this great program, and sign up," said Rep. Behning. The session that is coming up will begin January 5 and run thru April 29. A student, who participates in the Page Program, will observe a session from the floor and assist Rep. Behning with his daily activities. They will also tour the Statehouse which includes the Governor's Office, the Supreme Court, the House Chamber and the Senate Chamber. "I think the page program is very inclusive and thorough. Students really get to see all aspects of the Statehouse and the legislative process," said Rep. Behning. "I hope they find it as interesting as I do." Students that choose to participate will have an excused day of absence from their school and are responsible for finding their own transportation both to and from the Statehouse. Those interested in serving as a page for the House of Representatives should send their name, age, address, phone number and school to H91@iga.in.gov or send via mail Attn: Rep. Behning, 200 W.
