"As Gov. Daniels' speech illustrated, the issue of property taxes will be dominating the agenda for this session. While the property tax situation is one that has caused a great deal of anxiety for people across the state, it is one that can be fixed. We as the general assembly need to come together and formulate a plan that will be beneficial for the citizens of Indiana both now, and in the long run. I'm hopeful that this is just a springboard towards the elimination of residential property taxes." |
