"It has been a tough year but through good government discipline, I think we are poised to move forward," said Rep. Lehman (R-Berne). "The reserve is dwindling, but it will sustain us through this time without having to raise taxes. The states around us have been faced with enormous debt, and their only option is to raise taxes. On the other hand, Indiana has the fewest employees since 1982, so the state has tightened its belt, just like everyone around the state has had to do. But, Hoosiers are resilient. We will work through these tough times, and do everything we can do help Hoosier businesses grow Hoosier jobs."
