STATEHOUSE - State Rep. Suzanne Crouch (R-Evansville), as a member of the Health Finance Commission, will be studying the preparation and development of health care exchanges in Indiana and innovations in nursing home services and housing at their first interim study committee meeting today.

"Representatives from many health care providers will be present to discuss critical issues they are facing in the industry," said Rep. Crouch.

The commission will also be studying whether to establish federal or state health care exchanges as required by the federal Affordable Care Act.

The Health Finance Commission is meeting Wednesday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Senate Chambers at the Statehouse.

"Our goal is to ensure that the best health care practices are implemented in Indiana and to ensure that this is the case, we want to hear from the groups that might need our help."
