STATEHOUSE - State Rep. Sue Ellspermann (R-Ferdinand) was assigned to two interim study committees in order to better address issues facing Hoosiers statewide. Rep. Ellspermann will be serving as chairman of the Orange County Development Advisory Board and as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Employment Issues. "Although the 2011 session has ended, our duties as representatives are year round", said Rep. Ellspermann. "I am looking forward to spending time this summer and fall addressing issues that affect our communities and to find solutions that benefit all Hoosiers." The following information includes a brief description of both interim study committees Rep. Ellspermann will be serving on. Orange County Development Advisory Board · To advise the Orange County Development Commission Interim Study Committee on Employment Issues · To consider laws related to the issue of whether or not an employee should be required to join an employee organization as a condition of employment and project labor agreements "The issues, topics, and findings discussed during these committees meetings allows active problem solving, thus shaping stronger future legislation. I am glad to have this time to work ahead of the next legislative session," said Rep. Ellspermann.
