Rep. Davisson commends Internal Honing Service on EDGE Award
STATEHOUSE— State Representative Steve Davisson (R-Salem) commends the Internal Honing Service for receiving an Economic Development and Growth through Entrepreneurship (EDGE) award.
The EDGE awards are hosted by the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) and were presented today by Lt. Governor Ellspermann at the Indiana Statehouse. Twenty small businesses were recognized across the state, 10 as “emerging” businesses and the other 10 as “established.”
“The distinction of receiving an EDGE award is a testament to having the right priorities as a business,” said Rep. Davisson. “It shows you’re dedicated to providing an atmosphere that is conducive to growth within our state. I think the Internal Honing Service was an excellent choice.”
The Internal Honing Service was established in 1981 and has been serving the local community ever since. The machine shop offers industrial supplies from its center in Paoli, Ind. and was recognized as one of the established businesses.
