STATEHOUSE – State Representative Randy Frye (Greensburg) will share remarks at the annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial service on Friday, September 20 at the Indiana Statehouse. WHAT: Fallen Firefighter Memorial WHEN: Friday, Sept. 20, 11 a.m. WHERE: Indiana Firefighter Memorial located at the Indiana Statehouse, on the corner of Government Way and Senate Ave, Indianapolis. This memorial was dedicated on June 6, 2001. Each year, a ceremony is held there to honor and remember the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their communities. Rep. Frye was a professional firefighter for 26 years and also serves as Chairman of the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee in the Indiana House of Representatives. -30- |
