STATEHOUSE – On the morning of New Year’s Eve State Representative Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) will be presenting Vevay native Private Kassandra Woodward with a certificate of recognition as well as an American flag that has been flown over the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis. According to the Military Times, 10 women, including Pvt. Woodward, graduated from the Marine Corps’ Infantry Program on December 19. This makes Pvt. Woodward one of just 13 women to have ever graduated from the program.
