“The governor’s speech this evening has reaffirmed my optimism in the future of Indiana. Each day in the legislature, I come to work with one goal in mind: to create policies which will make Indiana the best state possible for the greatest number of Hoosiers possible. It is encouraging to see this same sentiment echoed by the governor.

“We remain united in our commitment to high-quality schools, high-paying jobs and strong families. These three factors lay the foundation for a successful future. I stand firm with the governor on this matter and look forward to another session where these principles will be the focus.”
