Twenty-two men and women were honored for their high level of involvement with tourism-related jobs; an industry that supports 257,000 Hoosier jobs and brings in $10 billion in spending annually. Kathy Schuerman from Batesville and Mark Powell from Greensburg were honored for their achievements today. "Hoosiers like Kathy and Mark move this state forward. They have made Indiana a more hospitable and attractive place for tourists to visit and participate in the Hoosier lifestyle," said Rep. Frye.
