"The House Democrats have been absent from their jobs for five weeks, and it is time that we continue the legislative process. Their charade has been etched into the scrolls of American history as the longest legislative walkout, a record Hoosiers are not proud to claim for their own. However, I am grateful to once again continue working on legislation that will protect Hoosier taxpayers, promote Hoosier job creation and expand education opportunities."
