EDITOR’S NOTE: State Representative Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) issued the following statement in response to Jennings County receiving a $550,000 grant from the Wastewater and Drinking Water Program. STATEHOUSE - “I want to congratulate Jennings County on being awarded a grant from the state which will allow them to conduct wastewater infrastructure improvements. These enhancements will improve the quality of life for residents living in this largely rural community. “In order to obtain this matching grant, the county had to pledge a significant amount, illustrating their commitment to a better economic future and quality of life. I commend their efforts, and I look forward to witnessing the positive impacts that this grant will have towards the long-term growth of the county.” -30- |
