Rep. Cleo Duncan (R-Greensburg) and her House colleagues honored Gregory Curlin Monday on his recent election to the position of President of the National Association of Agricultural Educators. In the 18 years Curlin has taught agricultural science and business at Switzerland County High School, he has received multiple awards for his excellence in teaching. "Curlin represents everything good about teaching," said Rep. Duncan. "He not only is passionate about what he teaches, but he also cares each student in his classroom. He takes the time to ensure they understand, while also having fun. They could not have found a better person for the job." Curlin lives and operates a small family farm in Vevay, Ind. Some of Curlin's family and FFA students joined him today on the House floor for his resolution. |
