"Not many people realize just how much important work is accomplished while the legislature is out of session," said Rep. Duncan. "This summer we will be exploring numerous ways to make state government run more effectively and efficiently." Rep. Duncan will serve on the following committees: Mass Transit and Transportation alternatives, The Governor's Commission on Minority and Women's Business Enterprises, Rail Corridor Safety Committee, Indiana Commission on Autism, Child Custody and Support Advisory Committee, and Transportation Matters Study Committee. As the Ranking Republican Member of the Roads and Transportation Committee that meets during session Rep. Duncan continues to study Indiana's transportation matters in the summer. "The summer study committees are an important part of the legislature," said Rep. Duncan. "I look forward to continuing my work to improve Indiana's reputation as the 'Crossroads of America' as well as studying other issues that will come before the Legislature in the coming session."
