(STATEHOUSE) Jan. 7, 2008 - State Rep. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) has been named assistant Republican caucus chairman by House Republican Leader Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis).
"Eric is a valuable addition to our leadership team," said Rep. Bosma. "This upcoming legislative session presents a number of significant challenges, and I expect him to be very successful in his new role helping lead the caucus.
"I am looking forward to working with the rest of the leadership team to offer solutions to the challenges facing our state," Rep. Koch said.
Rep. Koch was also named to the House Commerce, Energy, Technology and Utilities Committee. In addition, he will continue to serve as ranking Republican member of the House Courts and Criminal Code Committee and as a member of the House Judiciary Committee.
Rep. Koch serves House District 65, which includes parts of Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, and Lawrence counties.
