Rep. Smith honors Sunright America, Inc. with EDGE award
STATEHOUSE—Sunright America, Inc. was presented with an Economic Development and Growth through Entrepreneurship (EDGE) award today, recognizing them as an established business in Indiana.
The EDGE awards are hosted by the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) and were presented by Lt. Governor Ellspermann at the Indiana Statehouse. Twenty small businesses were recognized across the state, 10 as “emerging” businesses and the other 10 as “established.”
“I think that Sunright America is a very distinctive choice to receive the EDGE award,” said Rep. Smith. “Their company provides not only a good product to our community and state, but also a source of jobs and income for so many people.”
Sunright America was honored in the “established” category. Based in Columbus, Sunright America produces and supplies nuts and bolts to automobile suppliers across the state, among other businesses.
The EDGE awards are presented to small businesses that have a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth, and sustainability of commerce in Indiana.
“Indiana’s business climate is growing and thriving because of companies like Sunright America,” said Rep. Smith. “I commend Sunright America on their business ethic and look forward to seeing the company grow and expand even further.”
