Each session, our top focus is to make Indiana’s economic climate as attractive as possible to bring jobs to our state. Legislation enacted is working and companies are moving to Indiana. Even better, they are moving to our community, Columbus.
Toyota Material Handling U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) announced plans to relocate its California headquarters to Columbus. Their existing Columbus offices are connected to Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg., Inc. and after the transition, all operations will be headquartered in Columbus. TMHU has been the number one selling lift truck company in North America for the last decade.
Their choice to move and grow in Indiana is testament to our state’s pro-business attitudes and policies. I am pleased that more Hoosiers will be finding work in our great community.
