(STATEHOUSE) February 24, 2009 - State Rep. Woody Burton will be holding several town hall meetings to discuss issues important to the 2009 legislative session and surrounding communities. Topics will include the state budget, property tax caps and other legislative issues. Questions and comments are welcome.

Rep. Ralph Foley (R-Martinsville), David Frizzell(R- Indianapolis) and Milo Smith (R-Columbus), along with Sen. Pat Miller (R-Indianapolis) will also be attending.

The meetings will serve as a town hall for the Franklin and Greenwood areas. All interested and concerned citizens are encouraged to attend.

Where: White River Township Library
1664 Library Blvd. in Greenwood

When: March 5 at 6:30-8pm

Where: Franklin City Hall

 55 W. Madison Street in Franklin

When: March 7 at  1-3pm

  Where: Whiteland City Hall

            549 Main Street in Whiteland

When: March 7 at 10am-12pm
