STATEHOUSE — “I share the governor’s view that we must keep working to make Indiana the best place to start and build a business. In particular, I agree that a phasing out of the business personal property tax is an important, competitive measure to attract new employers who will drive our long-term economic growth.”

“I am pleased to see the governor prioritize preschool education for students of low-income families. Statistics clearly show that improving educational quality for this formative stage in a child’s development can have a pivotal impact on the child’s future learning and development. Giving Indiana families access to a high-quality education will help ensure a brighter future for all Hoosiers.”
