STATEHOUSE— “The Democrats gave their word they would come to the House floor and begin bill discussions this week, yet they have refused and remain absent. It is responsible government to come together as a General Assembly, both Republicans and Democrats, to the House floor to discuss the legislation in front of us. It is unacceptable for the House Democrats to refuse to show up to discuss, debate and vote on issues facing Indiana and at the fundamental level, refuse to show up to do the job they were elected to do.”
