Elkhart residents will have the opportunity to meet with Rep. Tim Neese (R-Elkhart) during a town hall meeting Thursday morning. The meeting is scheduled for 9 to 10 a.m. at the Augustana Lutheran Church, 1133 Kilbourn St. After the town hall meeting, Rep. Neese will visit fourth-graders at Daly Elementary School and Riverview Elementary School. During the visits, Rep. Neese will talk to students about how state government and the General Assembly function. Thursday morning's town hall meeting has no set agenda, and constituents may share any concerns or questions. "It's important for government officials to stay connected with their constituents." Rep. Neese said. "I look forward to hearing from local residents and talking with local students." Thursday's town hall meeting and school visit are part of a district day, which gives representatives and their staffs a chance to interact with the community. Teachers who would like Rep.
