STATEHOUSE- The 2010 legislative session has come to a close and Rep. Tim Neese (R-Elkhart) has been recognized by Watchdog Indiana as a taxpayer friendly legislator. Rep. Neese voted "yes" on permanent property tax caps, ethics reform, school funding flexibility and a tax delay for employers on their unemployment insurance premiums. These votes earned him 100 percent "tax payer friendly legislator" recognition. "Frugal spending and financial responsibility are important issues and they become more intense in times of economic uncertainty," Rep. Neese said. "While I appreciate the taxpayer friendly title, I do not feel I did anything other than voting for the best interest of my district."
