STATEHOUSE— State Rep. Tim Neese (R-Elkhart) will be hosting a town hall in conjunction with Elkhart Active Aging Week Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4:00 p.m. at the Council on Aging of Elkhart County, 230 East Jackson, Elkhart. Rep. Neese will answer various questions of senior citizens, including the CHOICE program, nursing facilities administration, aged and disabilities concerns among other topics. There will be two representatives from Family and Social Services Administration in attendance. Active Aging Week will be the week of September 26 through October 1, 2011 and is an annual health promotion event for older adults that offer free classes, educational seminars, and games to help older adults learn how to stay mentally and physically.
