[r46] House Democrats refuse to come to work (1/19/2012)

Thursday, January 19, 2012

Start Date: 1/19/2012
End Date: 1/19/2012
STATEHOUSE—  “At a time when we have over 300,000 Hoosiers unemployed, it is extremely disappointing that the majority of our Democrat colleagues have chosen not to honor their commitment. They have refused to show up to the House floor to discuss pieces of legislation that work to promote Hoosier employment. We have been elected by our communities to come to the House floor and be the voice or our districts. That is what they have a responsibility to do.

“By not showing up to work, the Democrats are delaying the legislative process. Their refusal to show up and to honor a commitment they willingly made to those who elected them is unacceptable.”
