Rep. Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) offered the following statement celebrating today's announcement regarding Peabody Energy's long-term coal agreement in Southwest Indiana:
The Lord has blessed our area with coal as a natural resource. For many years, Southern Indiana has been known for its natural beauty. Now, many Hoosier families will be able to stay here and enjoy our natural beauty because they will be able to provide for their families as well.
