VanNatter reacts to Adjournment of 2012 Session STATEHOUSE – “Although the 2012 session was short, I am pleased with the accomplishments of the General Assembly. Over the course of these 10 weeks, we have worked tirelessly to pass legislation that benefits the residents of Indiana. “This year, we will pass an additional $80 -$100 million dollars for full-day kindergarten. We also passed legislation that works towards lowering the state unemployment rate by having Indiana become the 23rd Right to Work state which will set Indiana apart from its Midwestern neighbors. “I hope to see the legislation that was passed during the 2012 session improve economic development in our state and better the lives of all Hoosiers.” -30- |
