Rep. VanNatter's Health Care Insurance Study Committee Bill Passes the House
STATEHOUSE- Rep. VanNatter's bill to establish a study committee on health insurance passed the House today by a vote of 92 to 3.
HB1582 specifies that a summer study committee be set up to look into various health care provider and health insurer issues during the 2011 General Assembly interim.
There are several healthcare issues that arise every year around the state of Indiana and the study committee is committed to examining these issues and drawing up recommendations.
"This interim study committee is necessary in order to have an open and honest debate about transparency of provider services for consumers, along with costs and prices associated with those services" said Rep. VanNatter.
