"The grant money will save residents from having to assume the financial burden and pay higher fees to fund the necessary infrastructure improvements," said Rep. Davis. "This opportunity will not only help the residents of Union City improve their water quality, but it will also help them prepare for future economic development investments." The recovery act will distribute approximately $125 million in funds to the Indiana State Recovering Fund, an existing program managed by the Indiana Finance Authority, which makes loans to communities for wastewater and drinking water projects.
