STATEHOUSE - House Republican Speaker Brian C. Bosma (R-Indianapolis) has announced committee members for the Indiana House Republican caucus.  Committee chairmen and caucus leaders are selected biennially by the majority party after each election year.

Rep. Bill Davis (R – Portland) has been selected to serve as Chairman of Public Policy committee.
“I am honored to once again serve as chair of the Public Policy committee,” said Rep. Davis. “We will work diligently to continue to our efforts in creating a strong future for Indiana.”

In addition to being Chair of the Public Policy Committee, Rep. Davis has also been selected to serve as a member of the following committees:
• Elections and Apportionment
• Employment, Labor and Pensions
• Roads and Transportation
• Committee on Joint Rules
• Rules and Legislative Procedures

Standing committees are an integral part of the legislative process.  Committees with specific expertise receive public testimony and work out the details of proposed legislation before it is heard on the House floor.
