Rep. Davis: Local Projects to Receive Energy Grants STATEHOUSE- State Rep. Bill Davis (R-Portland) congratulates the City of Portland and the Portland Municipal Airport on receiving a Federal Aviation Administration grant. The Portland Municipal Airport received $450,000 to rehabilitate taxiways at the airport. Some of these taxiways are as much as 50 years old. These projects are necessary to maintain the structural integrity of the taxiways and to extend their useful life. "I want to congratulate the Portland Municipal Airport for receiving this amazing grant. It makes me proud to see Hoosier tax dollars returning to our local economy," said Rep. Davis. Portland Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport located in Jay County, Indiana. Rep. Davis represents District 33, which is comprised of parts of Delaware, Jay and Randolph Counties. |
