The EDGE awards are hosted by the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) and were presented by Lt. Governor Ellspermann at the Indiana Statehouse. These awards recognized 10 emerging and 10 established ISBDC client small businesses from across the state. Kamp Modoc was among the select group of small businesses throughout the state honored with the distinct award. “I am so pleased to see Kamp Modoc honored with an EDGE award for the measurable economic impact they continue to have in Modoc,” said Rep. Beumer. “Like many others in our community, my family and I enjoy taking trips to Kamp Modoc for the outdoor fun it offers and to enjoy the picturesque backdrop that east central Indiana has to offer. Once or twice per summer, we take our grandchildren there to swim, camp and cookout.” Kamp Modoc is an established business in Randolph County which has a family campground, beach area and offers day passes as well as overnight accommodations for other activities. The EDGE awards are presented to emerging or established businesses that have a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth and sustainability of small businesses in Indiana. “When I came to the state legislature just a few months ago, I came with one priority in mind: to advocate for the small businesses in our communities and strengthen rural Indiana,” said Rep.
