More Jobs for Howard County STATEHOUSE- State Rep. Mike Karickhoff (R-Kokomo) is pleased to hear that Appex Group Inc. is expanding their operation in Howard County and creating more jobs in the community. “Creating more jobs is step one for a stronger economy,” said Rep. Karickhoff. “The recent announcement of the expansion of Appex Group Inc. in Howard County is news that is sure to be met with open arms and able bodies.” The expansion is reportedly for a new single-stream recycling project. This will allow for recyclable materials to be easily separated. The sort line will use a cross belt magnet to remove ferrous materials. Manual hand sorting separates aluminum, glass, paper and plastic materials. The approximate throughput will be 300 tons per month. -30- |
