Where do your representatives stand on property tax caps, local government reform, ethics reform and funding for schools? If you want to know the answers to these questions and others, you need to attend the last in this year's series of Legislative Breakfasts this coming Saturday. Presented by the Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Nucor, Senator Phil Boots and Representatives Tim Brown and Jeff Thompson, will be present to outline the current status of passed and pending legislation as well as answer questions from those in attendance. The breakfast will be Saturday, February 27th at the Quality Inn beginning at 8:00am. Cost for the breakfast is $10.00 and is OPEN TO THE PUIBLIC. The purpose of the Legislative Breakfast series is to give Chamber members and the public an opportunity to interact with their elected representatives and provide access to meet one-on-one with them to discuss individual concerns. |
