"This is a very important facility. Veterans now will have access to health care closer to home. Servicemen, servicewomen and retirees won't have to make the long trip to Fort Wayne, Marion or Indianapolis to receive great health care. "Not only will veterans have more accessibility to great quality health care at a new medical facility, but it will create jobs for the community also. "I especially would like to thank Miami County Veterans Service Officer Jay Kendall. Without his hard work, I don't know if this V.A. clinic would be possible. I congratulate him on his persistent and diligent effort on securing a clinic in town to better serve those who have served us."
