Rep. Dermody to Study School Funding Formula STATEHOUSE- State Rep. Tom Dermody (R-LaPorte) was appointed to serve on the Study Committee on School Funding Formula. He, along with eleven other legislators will be discussing: · School funding formulas used by other states · Other approaches to state budgeting and tuition support · Efficiencies schools have made to cope with the current funding shortfalls · Changes that the legislature can make to improve K-12 funding mechanisms The Interim Study Committee on School Funding Formula will be held on: Monday, August 30th, 2010 1pm Statehouse Room 431 200 W.
