Rep. Dermody Hosts Small Business Financing Seminar

State Rep. Tom Dermody and the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce have scheduled a Small Business Financing Seminar featuring Peter Smith, a lender relations specialist with the federal Small Business Administration. Among the topics:

• U.S. Small Business Administration role in small business financing.
• Capital needed to purchase or construct a building.
• Equipment financing.
• Working capital loans.
• Refinance existing debt or improve business cash flow.
• Steps in the borrowing process, document requirements and preparation.
• Technical assistance sources for new strategies and business plan development.

The general public is encouraged to attend.
