Pressel welcomes local student pages to the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (April 26, 2023) – State Rep. Jim Pressel (R-Rolling Prairie) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2023 legislative session.

As pages, the students assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, and joined Pressel on the House floor to witness and learn about the legislative process.

"The page program offers students a great opportunity to interact with representatives and see Indiana's government in action," Pressel said. "I enjoy teaching them about the lawmaking process here at the Statehouse."

These area students served as pages during the 2023 legislative session:

• Jenna Cicero, from La Porte, attends New Prairie High School;
• Aidan Fredenburg, from Rolling Prairie, attends New Prairie High School;
• Arizona Ray, from La Porte, attends Fairhaven Christian Academy; and
• Isriel Ray, from La Porte, attends Fairhaven Christian Academy.

Pressel said students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating during the 2024 legislative session.
