STATEHOUSE (March 13, 2024) – State Rep. Jim Pressel (R-Rolling Prairie) recently welcomed Isabel Barron from La Porte, who attends Kesling Intermediate School, to the Statehouse where she participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2024 legislative session.
As a page, Barron assisted lawmakers and staff with daily duties, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse and joined Pressel on the House floor to learn about the legislative process.
"It's awesome to see students like Isabel wanting to find out more about the lawmaking process," Pressel said. "Paging at the Indiana Statehouse is a unique way to engage in state government, learn more about Indiana history and meet lawmakers."
