HOUSE DISTRICT 20 (Nov. 8, 2019) – State Rep. Jim Pressel (R-Rolling Prairie) recently hosted a listening tour in House District 20 to meet and hear from local law enforcement officers, employers and elected officials.
“Hearing from the members of our community is the most important responsibility I have as our state representative, and I take it very seriously,” Pressel said. “Meeting with employers, elected officials and local law enforcement helps me to understand the needs of our community, which prepares me as we head into the 2020 legislative session. I am grateful for the feedback I received during the visit, and I strongly encourage anyone with questions or ideas for new laws to reach out.”
During his tour, Pressel visited the LaPorte County Jail, attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a coffee production facility in Knox and spoke with local leaders about economic opportunities in their communities.
Pressel represents House District 20, which includes portions of LaPorte and Starke counties. To reach Pressel’s Statehouse office, call 1-800-382-9841 or email email@example.com. Pressel said constituents can also provide feedback on potential legislation via a survey that will be mailed and available online.
