Mike Speedy (R-Indianapolis) (center) and Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) (right) in Givat Ram, Jerusalem, where the Israeli parliament, known as the Knesset, meets Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Prescott, Speedy and Frye traveled to Israel, and participated in the annual Israel Prayer Breakfast at the Knesset. This religious event brings together government and Christian leaders from different countries to pray for peace in Jerusalem. Prescott also met with business officials who have partnerships with the Hoosier state and encouraged others to consider investing in Indiana. Prescott said at least five Indiana businesses are headquartered in Israel, and those businesses bring jobs and economic opportunities. Prescott also visited holy sites like the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem marking the site of Christ's birthplace, and the Cross on the Hill in Jerusalem where Jesus is believed to have been crucified.
