Prescott statement on House Republicans' state budget proposal passing out of key committee

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 12, 2021) – "Our House Republican budget proposal keeps our commitment to fiscal responsibility while making smart investments. We're increasing funding for K-12 public education, providing grants to small businesses struggling due to the pandemic and improving rural broadband statewide. The proposal also provides resources to help students whose learning was impacted by COVID-19 get back on track in addition to funding for Hoosier communities to find innovative ways to attract talent and jobs."
