On Tuesday, House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) announced House Republicans will vote to override the governor's veto when the legislature convenes on May 24 for technical corrections day:
STATEHOUSE (March 22, 2022) – "Sports are about fair competition, and I support House Enrolled Act 1041 to ensure a level playing field for biological female athletes in Indiana. While I'm disappointed in the governor's decision, I'm committed to supporting a veto override in May and upholding integrity in girls' sports now and for years to come."
