Note to the press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. J.D. Prescott (R-Union City) in your coverage of Gov. Eric Holcomb on Tuesday announcing his plan for moving Indiana forward, which includes ending the statewide mask mandate and capacity limits on businesses in early April:

STATEHOUSE (March 24, 2021) – "This is great news for Indiana and it's encouraging that progress is being made. Individuals are capable of deciding the best course of action for themselves, their families and their businesses. As more Hoosiers are vaccinated and cases drop, I encourage local units of government in our area to also consider ending mask requirements and business restrictions so we can continue to move forward in returning to normal and make progress toward ending the state health emergency."
