Prescott hosts district listening tour, meets with constituents and employers

HOUSE DISTRICT 33 (Sept. 20, 2021) – State Rep. J.D. Prescott (R-Union City) recently hosted a listening tour in House District 33 to meet and hear from constituents, employers and local leaders.

Prescott's visits included a tour of The Wedding Factory in Albany with owner Clyde Shaffer, and stops at Fuqua Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, Glass Capital Grill and Sculpt Fitness LLC in Dunkirk. Prescott also visited city halls in Portland and Winchester, where he met with mayors John Boggs and Bob McCoy, along with several local police and fire department officials. Prescott also toured the Portland Fire Department. Prescott finished his district tour with a stop at the Winchester Golf Club, and Mrs. Wick's Restaurant & Bakery in Winchester.

"The best way for me to serve as your representative is by being in communication with the hardworking Hoosiers, employers, public safety officials and elected officials who make House District 33 a great place to live, grow and succeed," Prescott said. "Our local communities are diverse and unique, and I'm honored to be their voice at the Statehouse. I encourage anyone with input on how to make our state and communities even better to reach out at any time."
