STATEHOUSE (March 2, 2020) – State Rep. Wendy McNamara (R-Evansville) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they served as pages during the 2020 legislative session:

Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined McNamara on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

“I enjoyed spending time with Alexis, Amber and Hayley, and I appreciate their interest in learning more about state government,” McNamara said. “Coming to the Statehouse as a student page is a fantastic experience and a great way to witness the legislative session up close.”

McNamara said that while spots for this year’s page program are full, students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
